Marketing Production Manager

At the Louisville Orchestra, marketing plays an important role in the success of the organization. To build on our current momentum, we’re searching for a highly qualified marketing manager to work closely with the Director of Marketing and a team of dedicated staff and vendors. From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The marketing production manager must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines that require the cooperation and support of other team members.

Objectives of this Role
• Be the conduit that results in meeting ticket sales and generating growth for the organization
• Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand and advertising strategy
• Liaise with team to identify and define project requirements and objectives
• Prioritize work and internal and external resources across projects based on short- and long-term needs, establishing production schedules collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production resources
• Manage production of advertising and promotional assets
• Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges
• Ensure timely delivery of all assets
• Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the marketing team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
• Examine existing processes, identify flaws and create solutions to improve design capabilities
• Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video
• Obtain a thorough understanding of our products, internal standards, and differentiators to enhance sales, attendance, organizational functionality, and brand awareness.
• Compile all elements for concert programs and oversee production and on-time delivery of both print and digital versions

Duties and Responsibilities
• Independent decision power and authority over outside vendors and the development of the assets.
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams for a wide range of materials that include web pages, programming collateral, presentations, signage, internal communication, newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a project management system
• Create, maintain, and distribute monthly marketing reports showing achievement of critical metrics regarding content creation, website traffic, and other KPIs.
• Assist marketing manager and team in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including content creation, new product launches, social media, upsell, cross-sell, and sales enablement.
• Act as a point of communication between company teams and external resources
• Deepen partnerships with outside resources – including third-party vendors

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or management, with a minimum of three years of experience in project management especially in marketing asset coordination
• Strong familiarity with the operations of a marketing operation with high traffic within a non-profit business
• Established history of organizing and executing multiple projects with multiple departments
• Superior communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated and detail oriented with astute attention to deadlines
• Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work nights and weekends
• Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive
• Physically able to lift 25lbs. unassisted
• Must have a positive attitude, be able to work as part of a high-functioning team, and have an interest in the performing arts.
