We open our season celebrating our beloved Kentucky featuring Murray, KY’s own mandolinist extraordinaire, Chris Thile, who gives the Kentucky debut of a piece for mandolin and orchestra. Expect to be dazzled and inspired through Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland and spotlight works by Louisville’s Valerie Coleman. We top it all off with a nod to horses and their riders everywhere with Rossini’s William Tell Overture.
