The Louisville Orchestra presents an evening of groundbreaking music. Showcasing the orchestra’s commitment to innovation, this program features three contemporary works from new and former Louisville Orchestra Creators Corps composers including Anthony Green’s Ev’ry Time I Blink, Chelsea Komschlies’ A Hidden Sun Rises as well as the highly anticipated world premiere of Lisa Bielawa’s Violin Concerto, a bold new commission written for violinist Tessa Lark. Complimenting these fresh voices is Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony, innovative in its own day for its exploration of nature’s changing landscapes in symphonic form.
