The Louisville Orchestra patron data is housed and handled by Kentucky Performing Arts (The Kentucky Center). The following is an amended statement of the Privacy Policy presented by Kentucky Performing Arts to include the commitment of the Louisville Orchestra to the details of this policy.

Our Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. This privacy policy, which is a part of our overall Terms of Use, is intended to provide you with information about how we collect, store, and use personally identifiable information obtained through our website. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Kentucky Performing Arts’ website. On some pages, you can order tickets or other products and services, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of information collected at these pages are:
Name, mailing address, email address, phone number and payment information such as the information we need to bill your Credit or Debit Card for orders you place via The Kentucky Performing Arts website.

For example, from time to time we may post online surveys on our website, in which we seek to collect information from you regarding your personal preferences as to the events and other products and services offered by The Kentucky Center and other relevant information.
Like most websites, The Kentucky Performing Arts website and the Louisville Orchestra website uses “cookies”. The Louisville Orchestra links to The Kentucky Performing Arts website for individual ticket sales and all statements above apply to those transactions. Season ticket orders, event registrations, and contributions submitted through the Louisville Orchestra website collect information including: Name, mailing address, email address, phone number, performance preferences, and payment information. Season ticket orders and contributions are processed through the ticket/donation database and processing system and all policies above apply to these transactions.
The Way We Use Information
In general, personally identifiable information collected through this website may be used by The Kentucky Performing Arts to allow purchasing and shipping of tickets, subscriptions, memberships and/or merchandise, communicate with you, register you as a user, inform you of upcoming events, request your support through donations, enable you to participate in special promotions, allow you to navigate the website without having to re-enter information, develop, maintain, and improve our products and services, or administer our website. We may make personally identifiable information available to other select organizations, including but not limited to, resident arts companies, visiting performers, arts organizations, affiliated organizations, agents working on our behalf, and companies or organizations with whom we have a contractual or sponsor relationship. We may also provide aggregated data to these and other organizations. We may use the information we collect for institutional research. Although we may make reasonable inquiries to determine that such other organizations maintain website privacy policies comparable to ours, we are not responsible for the enforcement of such policies.
We may disclose personally identifiable information if we believe in good faith that we are required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, a subpoena, or other legal processes. We may also disclose personally identifiable information when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Terms of use or to protect the safety, property or other rights of our users or the public. We use the payment information you provide when placing an order, such as the information we need to bill your debit or credit card to complete that order, and we may use the information to send you a receipt for that order. We do not share payment information such as debit or credit card information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

The Louisville Orchestra’s e-News
The Louisville Orchestra website offers an opportunity to subscribe to e-Notes, an e-mail newsletter for the exclusive communication with our patrons. Your e-mail address is the only necessary information to collect for a subscription. Additionally requested but optional information includes your name, mailing address, phone number, and specific e-marketing products. Once you have subscribed to the Louisville Orchestra’s e-Notes, we may send you a regular electronic newsletter to your email address advising you of upcoming events, milestones, giving opportunities and general communications about the Louisville Orchestra. Past purchasers of tickets are also added to this e-mail newsletter list. We provide you with the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time.
Third-Party Service Providers
The Kentucky Performing Arts may engage reputable third-party vendors in order to help us manage our website and allow us to better service our visitors and customers. These may include third-party vendors engaged to analyze, for marketing purposes, the information collected on our website.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
