Nancy Staidle
First violinist, Nancy Staidle, has been a member of the Louisville Orchestra since 1986. Along with her orchestral involvement, Mrs. Staidle teaches violin at The Louisville Academy of Music and frequently plays with the Derby City Strings. Staidle earned a Bachelor of Music in violin performance degree from San Diego State University where she performed the Barber Concerto with the Orchestra. She holds a Master of Music degree in violin performance from the University of Southern California where her principal teacher was Alice Schoenfeld. Prior to joining the Louisville Orchestra, Staidle played one year with the Nashville Symphony.
