Event Description
WED 2 FEB at 6:30PM • Kentucky Center: FREE CONCERT — The Louisville Orchestra joins with the Louisville Youth Orchestra in a concert presented by the Gheens Foundation and the Kentucky Performing Arts. Sitting “side-by-side,” musicians from the LO and LYO play together in an exceptional educational concert experience. Gaining confidence from their professional counterparts, the young performers rise to the heights of their own abilities. For audiences, this “double orchestra” concert is a sonic delight.
The LO is proud of Nicholas Finch (principal cello at the LO) who makes his Louisville Orchestra conducting debut at this concert.
