Event Description

This sparkling program is a chance to hear the Louisville Orchestra play some brilliant music for free! Some orchestra lovers count Finlandia as one of their favorite pieces. Certainly everyone in Finland thrills to the drama of this thrilling work. What else? Lisa Bielawa’s music is simply a joy to listen to. And the effervescent dash of this symphony by Dmitri Shostakovich lights up the orchestra. Bring friends to their first orchestra concert. They will thank you for it!
