Free Concert Season Kickoff

Fri 24 SEP at 8PM • Iroquois Amphitheater •  Teddy Abrams conducts a season kickoff concert that is free with no ticket required. The Louisville Orchestra performs music by composers featured throughout the upcoming concerts with an emphasis on the interesting and unique.

Soloists in Schubertiade, composed by Teddy Abrams, are LO concertmaster Gabriel Lefkowitz and LO assistant concertmaster Julia Noone. Their performances lead off a season of performances highlighting LO musicians as soloists. We welcome cellist Ethan Murphy in his LO debut. Murphy was top prize winner in the 2020 Young Artist Competition held by the Association of the Louisville Orchestra.
