Grammy-winning composer and conductor Eric Whitacre leads the Louisville Orchestra in an evening of his own breathtaking works. Known for his lush harmonies and cinematic soundscapes, Whitacre’s music blends classical, choral, and contemporary influences, creating an immersive and deeply moving experience.

Joining him on stage is world-renowned violinist Anne Akiko Myers, along with the Louisville Chamber Choir under the direction of Kent Hatteberg. The program features Whitacre’s signature pieces, from the stirring The Seal Lullaby and atmospheric Deep Field to the exhilarating energy of Equus.
