The spotlight shines on Grammy-nominated violinist Tessa Lark, also named as one of Lincoln Center’s eleven Emerging Artists for 2020 and
recipient of its prestigious Hunt Family Award. Lark performs Wynton Marsalis’ violin concerto. The music dips and dives through movements titled “Rhapsody,”
“Rondo,” “Blues,” and “Hootenanny” to celebrate styles from Jazz to Bluegrass.
We also introduce the three composers in the LO Creators Corps with three short works after opening with the dazzling final movement of Stravinsky’s Symphony in Three Movements.
