COFFEE: PLAY STARRING JIM JAMES: FAM 2

FRI 06 APR  ::  Created to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the National Park Service, Natural History was premiered in an outdoor performance on the edge of Crater Lake in Oregon. Michael Gordon embraced the extraordinary setting of the 8000-year-old caldera and the surrounding wilderness to create the piece. It features singers, musicians, and tribal drummers who join with the orchestra to evoke the timeless spirituality of a sacred place.
