CLASSICS: VIOLINS OF HOPE

Event Description

26 OCT 2019 :: A program of history and inspiration, “Violins of Hope” comes to Louisville in October 2019. The touring exhibition provides an opportunity for learning and reflections through restored violins that survived the Holocaust. The Louisville Orchestra is proud to be one of many partners in this city-wide project and participate by giving voice to these amazing instruments in this performance.

CONCERT TALK: Starting at 6:45PM in Whitney Hall, the LO, together with WUOL, offers a free, pre-concert discussion hosted by radio program direction Daniel Gilliam.
